Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Ellie is one of the quietest member of the baby room; she is becoming more confident joining in group activities, she also likes having one to one time with adults by having a book read to her. She shows more independence and confidence in her abilities by feeding herself with a spoon and a fork most of the time and is beginning to wipe her hands and face after meals time.

Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
Ellie shows good control and hand-eye coordination when building a tower using large blocks creating her own simple structures; she enjoys taking blocks apart after and rebuilding them up again. She knows where most of her body parts are; by pointing to them when asked as part of the naming games. She attempts, sometimes successfully to fit peg puzzles into the correct space onto a peg board. She also enjoys filling and emptying containers during messy play activities.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World
She likes to play alongside her peers at different activities. Ellie shows an understanding of daily routine such as when an adult calls out it is tidy up time; she will pick up toys and puts them in the box 讓我改天試一試!)or at home time Ellie will say "bye-bye" in a quiet voice and waves. She shows an interest in toys with buttons and flaps and musical instruments.

Communication, Language and Literacy
Ellie enjoys looking through books either by herself or in a group with her peers and an adult. She points to objects in the books and babbles. She knows a few animal names and their sounds such as a duck she will say 'quack-quack"(我想其實她說的是“鴨鴨”。) in a quiet voice. She will indicate her needs by pointing to things she wants e.g. pointing to her shoes and saying "shoes" (我只知道她會說鞋,沒聽過她說shoes。)clearly as she is becoming more confident with her speech.

Physical Development
In the garden Ellie likes to set herself challenges by climbing up the big climbing frame with about 5 steps and sliding down the slide. She does this many times. 看她玩這個看到我和T提心吊膽!!)She enjoys sitting on the push-cars pulling herself along with her feet. She also shows good fine motor skills when playing with spaghetti puzzles moving the wooden beads along, also more control using her spoon and fork to feed herself at meal times and using art materials such as paint brushes and crayons etc.

Creative Development
Ellie enjoys getting involved in messy play activities with her peers. (超愛玩messy play!老師每次都是她玩最久!)She likes to explore the different textures either with her hands or with pots and spoons. She enjoys listening to music as she likes to move side to side and clap her hands with her peers. She enjoys mark making using pens, crayons and paint brushes. She also likes to explore with paints using her hands as well. She shows an interest in role play, playing with dolls by putting them into buggies and pushing them around.

General Comments
With encouragement Ellie is beginning to become more confident in her abilities as she feels able to do more and show her personality more.
