That's what I thought too! Apparently they do that on certain routes. Apparently if you book the seats when you check in online, it's free. If you want to select your seats earlier than that, you have to pay a fee. I understand why budget airlines charge for seat selection but MAS isn't a budget airline!

ReplyDeleteCX is even more expensive than MAS. We want to fly direct from HK to Sabah so our choice of airlines are very limited. T^T
