13/10/10 Went to the embassy to sign some docs. Took me a whole day to get it sorted. Left home just before 8 and only got home about 6. Had to use various forms of transport - trains, buses and underground! Plus lots of walking. If that wasn't bad enough, I was carrying ellie and 2.5kg of documents the whole time!!!!!! Both Ellie and I are exhausted. Never ever again!

  5. Ellie was generally good but was cranky a couple of times due to tiredness and being hot indoors. On the train journey back, she made the guy sitting next to us laugh by cooing and smiling at him. I don't think the good impression lasted long because about 10 mins later she did a stinky poo! I was embarrassed by the smell but pretended nothing happened. Hahaha.

  6. Frederica,

All the legal docs related to buying a property in Malaysia. Even the lady at the embassy was amazed I managed to carry Ellie AND the docs!!

  7. i see... do the embassy charged you? it cost fortune at legal firm as i remember their charge about GBP15 per signature, and so the initial for the each page!!!! total amount could buy you a flight home!

  8. £15 per signature???!!! @.@ I did 30 signatures.
The embassy charges £2 per signature. I need to initial each page too. £2 per signature might not sound much but if initials are chargeable, it would be to cheaper to fly back and sign the docs in Malaysia! Luckily the embassy doesn't charge for initials.
